A 2x Olympian for Grenada, Felix competed at the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. In 2014 he won the bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games. Collegiately, Felix was the 2012 NCAA Division I Decathlon Champion for Boise State, a year in which he was also named the Mountain West Men's Outdoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Year.

On January 5, 2018 he was awarded the Presidential Award of Merrit for 2017 from the Grenada Olympic Committee at the National Sports Awards
