A 2017 and 2016 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Heptathlon Champion for Cerritos College, Juanita scored 48 of the teamโs 149.5 points in 2017, winning four state individual titles as well as the Heptathlon, in which she scored a CCCAA Championship Meet record (5,424pts). At the 2017 USATF Outdoor Track & Field Championships Juanita placed 14th as one of the youngest competitors in the field. Prior to Cerritos College, she helped Redlands HS to back-to-back CIF Division II championships as well as four straight Citrus Belt League championships.
Diagnosed with Aspergerโs Syndrome at an early age, a condition on the Autism spectrum, Juanita seeks to inspire others while excelling at the highest levels in the sport.
