A 2017 and 2016 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Heptathlon Champion for Cerritos College, Juanita scored 48 of the teamโ€™s 149.5 points in 2017, winning four state individual titles as well as the Heptathlon, in which she scored a CCCAA Championship Meet record (5,424pts). At the 2017 USATF Outdoor Track & Field Championships Juanita  placed 14th as one of the youngest competitors in the field. Prior to Cerritos College, she helped Redlands HS to back-to-back CIF Division II championships as well as four straight Citrus Belt League championships.

Diagnosed with Aspergerโ€™s Syndrome at an early age, a condition on the Autism spectrum, Juanita seeks to inspire others while excelling at the highest levels in the sport.
